The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles announced this afternoon that many NCDMV offices in central and western North Carolina previously closed due to a network outage have reopened for business.
The offices had to cease operations early Thursday morning following a fiber optic cable being cut in the Shelby area.
Driver License Offices located in Concord, Wadesboro, Lexington, Polkton, Salisbury, High Point, Albemarle and Mooresville re-opened for business this afternoon.
License Plate Agencies in Rural Hall and Harrisburg re-opened this afternoon. Other agencies closed earlier today will re-open tomorrow morning.
