Winston-Salem - Traffic will be detoured along Andrews Street near Spencer as N.C. Department of Transportation contractors begin warranty repair work of existing approach concrete slabs at the bridge over Town Creek next week. This work is part of the extended warranty covered by Blythe Construction as part of the I-85 project that was completed in 2008.

The work will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 15, and is expected to be completed by 6 a.m. on Monday, July 20.

From Andrews Street, motorists will use Mill Run Road, East Jefferson Street, Long Ferry Road, North Salisbury Avenue and I-85 S/U.S. 52 as the signed detour route.
