RALEIGH-TheN.C. Department of Transportationwill hold an informalpublic meetingon April 21 regarding construction of a directional crossover on U.S. 421 at Troy Estate Road and improvements on N.C. 49 at Willard Road and Weeden Street in Randolph County.
The project includes construction of a superstreet-like design at U.S. 421 at Troy Estate Road and intersection improvements at N.C. 49 at Willard Road and Weeden Street. These updates will make the route safer and more effective in handling an increase of traffic in the area.
The meeting will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Liberty Town Hall on 239 South Fayetteville Street.
NCDOT representatives will be available during the open-house style setting to provide information, answer questions and collect comments regarding the proposed project. Citizens are welcome to attend at any time during the meeting hours, as there will not be a formal presentation. Public comments will also be accepted through May 5.
