Fayetteville Motorists traveling Raeford Road in the evening and overnight for the next several weeks need to drive cautiously in the area of the All-American Freeway bridge. Lane closures will be in place through the end of October to allow contractor crews to safely prep and paint the bridge girders.
The closures, one lane in each direction, will be in place between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the next morning, seven days a week, weather permitting.
Drivers should be on the lookout for construction signs and slow down while traveling through the area.
S and D Industrial Painting of Tarpon Springs, FL is the contractor for the $4.5 million project, which was awarded to the lowest bidder as required by state law.
