Agency will re-open Tuesday, Sept. 22
RALEIGH -The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles' announced that the Raleigh State Vehicle Registration office, located at 1100 New Bern Ave., next week will undergo modernization and renovations like many other DMV offices. The office will close temporarily on Monday, Sept. 21, to complete the changes. The office is scheduled to re-open at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
The Raleigh office will add new work stations and undergo re-wiring not updated since 1986. The modernization is part of an effort to phase in improvements at DMV offices across the state.

LPAs offer vehicle registration services and title transactions, as well as vehicle license plate renewals, replacement tags and duplicate registrations. Currently, 120 license plate agencies operate across North Carolina.
