Ramp Closures Scheduled in Charlotte This Week for Pavement Repairs

CHARLOTTESeveral interstate ramps will be closed in Charlotte this week while crews make pavement repairs.

The repairs and resulting ramp closureswill be done overnight to minimize the impact to the traveling public. The work schedule is:

• Tonight,theon-rampfrom the Brookshire Freeway(N.C. 16)to I-85 Northand the on-ramp fromGlenwood Drive to I-85 Northwill be closed from9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24.
• On Thursday, Sept, 24, the ramp from Statesville Avenue to I-85 North will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 25. During this time, the right two lanes of I-85 Northwill also be closed.
• On Friday, Sept. 25,the ramp from I-77 North to N.C. 16 (Exit 11B) will be closed from 11 p.m.to 6 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26.

The closures are dependent onfavorableweather conditions.
