The N.C. Department of Transportation will close the ramp from Interstate 95 South to U.S. 264 East in Wilson at 6 p.m. this evening, weather permitting. The closure, which will be in place for a few hours, is necessary for crews to repave a section of the ramp. The ramp is expected to reopen to traffic by no later than 1 a.m. Thursday morning. Should it rain, the closure will be delayed until Thursday evening.While the ramp is closed, southbound traffic on I-95 wanting to access U.S. 264 East will continue south on I-95, take the next exit, cross over the interstate and take I-95 North back to the exit for U.S. 264 East.
