MANNS
HARBOR - The N.C. Department of Transportation's Ferry Division will be suspending
service on its Currituck-Knotts Island route on Tuesday, Feb. 17, after making
the day's initial trips from both locations. Once the 6 a.m. trip from
Currituck and the 6:50 a.m. trip from Knotts Island take place, the service
will be closed to allow crews to do repair work at both ferry docks.
The route is primarily used to transport school children,
but with no school that day the impact is expected to be minimal.
Regularly-scheduled service will resume Wednesday morning.
For further schedule information and updates, please call the
Currituck terminal at (252) 232-2683.
