Raleigh - The North Carolina Department of Transportation will hold an informal public meeting on Feb. 23 to present information about the future
U.S. 64 Asheboro Bypass Project. NCDOT will present information on the overall project status.
The meeting will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Randolph County Community College's corporate training center at 413 Industrial Park Ave. in Asheboro.
This open house format meeting will allow interested citizens to attend at any time with no formal presentation. NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and listen to comments regarding the project. The public is urged to share their ideas, thoughts and suggestions. Comments will be reviewed and taken into consideration as the design progresses. Comments may also be submitted in writing and accepted through Tuesday, March 8.
The public can view maps displaying the location and design concept for the project online at the
project website on the NCDOT
public meetings website or a printed copy at the NCDOT Division 8 District Engineer's Office at 300 DOT Drive in Asheboro.
