Students, parents invited to attend

Raleigh - The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles' School Bus and Traffic Safety Unit invites area parents and school students to a Back-to-School Safety Fair on Friday, Aug. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Greenville Driver License Office, located at 703 SE Greenville Blvd., Suite 12, in Greenville.

The event will offer students and parents an opportunity to review and discuss safety practices when boarding and leaving school buses, using crosswalks, and walking or biking to school. Law enforcement and safety officials will also be on hand to inform drivers about the school bus stop law.

The fair will also host partners from the State Highway Patrol and the Greenville Police Department.
