Greensboro - The contractor for the N.C. Department of Transportation will close the Bryan Boulevard westbound ramp to I-73 southbound and the I-73 northbound ramp to Bryan Boulevard westbound, for resurfacing and lane construction work taking place as part of the Inman Road bridge replacement project next week.
Weather permitting, crews will close the ramps nightly from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. starting Wednesday, Aug. 3, and will reopen on Friday, Aug. 5.
Motorists traveling through the area will use Old Oak Ridge Road and the Winston-Salem exit to detour around the ramp closures.
State officials remind motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
