Charlotte - The Department of Transportation has postponed closing Back Creek Church Road in Charlotte, originally scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 9. The closure will be rescheduled for early 2017.
Projects like this will improve connectivity between Raleigh and Charlotte by modernizing the state's rail systems. These projects are funded in large part by federal stimulus dollars from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
