where:	On-site dedication will be located on Business 70/N.C. 210, on the bridge which crosses the Neuse River
details:	The Johnston County Sheriff's Office, together with the N.C. Department of Transportation, will hold a ceremony to posthumously dedicate the bridge to Deputy C. Paul West, Sr. Speakers will include Transportation Secretary Nick Tennyson, Johnston County Sheriff Steve Bizzell, and local officials. Please note that the bridge will be closed to all traffic from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, June 24. Motorists on Business 70 East should use the M. Durwood Stephenson Highway and Buffalo Road/North Third Street as a detour route during these times. Motorists headed towards Smithfield on N.C. 210 South should take a left on Business 70 West and then use M. Durwood Stephenson Highway and Buffalo Road/North Third Street. Drivers leaving Smithfield on Business 70 West should turn right on North Third Street, then use Buffalo Road to access the M. Durwood Stephenson Highway to get back onto Business 70.
