NCDOT Wants Your Feedback on Proposed Noise Walls For a Section of the Greensboro Western Loop in Guilford County

Greensboro - The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold an informational meeting to discuss the proposed noise walls for the section of the Greensboro Western Urban Loop project that extends from U.S. 220 (Battleground Avenue) to Lawndale Drive.

The meeting will take place on Monday, Feb. 29, at Fellowship Presbyterian Church located at 2005 New Garden Road from 7 to 8 p.m. There will be a formal presentation. NCDOT representatives will provide information about the proposed noise walls, answer questions regarding the walls and will explain the voting procedure. Voting will not occur in the meeting. Following the meeting, NCDOT will send ballots to owners and tenants of all properties that receive a 5-decibel reduction in traffic noise from the proposed noise walls.
