NCDOT to Activate New Traffic Signals in Mecklenburg, Cabarrus counties

Charlotte - Motorists driving through the towns of Harrisburg and Mint Hill will notice some new traffic signals the Department of Transportation is putting in service to improve traffic flow in the region.

In Harrisburg, a traffic signal at the intersection of Robinson Church Road and Tom Query Road will go into full operation today, Nov. 23. The signal has been operating in a temporary flash mode since Nov. 18.

Crews will put a new signal in a temporary flash pattern today at N.C. 218 and the I-485 Inner Loop in Mint Hill. The signal will go into full operation Wednesday, Nov. 30.
