New Signs Going up Along I-85 South in Alamance County

Greensboro - The N.C. Department of Transportation will be closing a lane on I-85 South between the exits for N.C. 87 and Maple Avenue in Burlington on Thursday, Jan. 14, to begin work that will include new ground-mounted sign installations as a part of the Logo Program.

Weather permitting, work will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, and is expected to be completed by 3 p.m. the same day.

NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
