Greensboro - After a crash involving a tractor-trailer before 8 a.m. on U.S. 158 near U.S. 220 in Guilford County closed a portion of the roadway; the N.C. Department of Transportation has reopened the area.
Slow downs are expected for the next several hours as cleanup from the accident continues.
NCDOT is also taking this time to remind the traveling public of the Move Over Law.
Under the "Move Over" law, motorists are required to move over one lane, if possible, or reduce speed for stopped emergency vehicles with flashing lights on the shoulder of the highway, including public service vehicles with amber lights. Violating the law could result in a $500 fine.
