Greensboro - Transportation officials will hold an open-house public meeting next week for the proposed intersection improvements at Greensboro Street and Estes Drive Extension in Carrboro.
The open-house public meeting will be held Monday, Nov. 14, at the Carrboro Town Hall Board Room at 301 West Main Street from 4 to 7 p.m.
The purpose of this project is to make the intersection safer and more effective in handling existing and future traffic. Currently Greensboro Street and Estes Drive are two-lane roadways and the existing intersection is signalized.
Interested citizens are encouraged to attend at any time during those hours; please note there will not be a formal presentation.
NCDOT and consultant staff will be available to provide information on the project, answer questions and receive comments.
The public can view maps displaying the location and design of the project as they become available online at http://ncdot.gov/projects/publicmeetings/default.html.
Anyone desiring additional information may contact Division Seven Project Manager Chris Smitherman, P.E. at (336) 487-0079 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
