Greensboro - N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will conduct sign work on I-73 South from mile marker 97 to 100 prompting a daylong lane closure.
"Crews will be installing a 20 mile-per-hour sign with flashers along the 97 A ramp," said Division Seven Engineer Mike Mills.
To allow crews to work safely, a portion of the interstate will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
The department reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
