GREENSBORO – The N.C. Department of Transportation has revised the timing of an overnight closure at the junction of Interstate 73 and I-40 in Guilford County.
Crews originally planned to finish replacing an overhead sign on northbound I-73 at the interchange from Sunday night to Monday morning. Due to rain, that work was rescheduled to begin Wednesday night.
From 11 p.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday, traffic approaching the interchange on northbound I-73 will be redirected to a detour following I-40.
Drivers should slow down and use caution near the interchange and anticipate additional travel time with the detour.
