HENDERSONVILLE – A contractor for the N.C. Department of Transportation will replace a culvert on Sky Valley Road in Henderson County which necessitates a detour for three days.
Crews from Buckeye Bridge Company will close the road near Old CCC Road on Monday, July 19 and reopen the section on July 21.
The detour for locations south of the intersection uses Old CCC Road and Crab Creek Road.
Crews will continue installing the culvert with a temporary signal controlling traffic in a one-lane pattern until the project is complete this fall.
