North Carolina Ports Authority Board of Directors

The Board of Directors governing North Carolina Ports is responsible for staying informed on world trade and economic trends and developments as well as making informed decisions about the Port Authority’s operations.

Of the board, six members are appointed by the governor, four are appointed by the N.C. General Assembly and the last position is filled by the secretary of the N.C. Department of Transportation.

The board meets approximately six times per year.
