Yes, to request a reconsideration or hearing you may submit a signed written request to the Medical Review Board within 10 days of receiving the decision from the Medical Review Unit as permitted under
NCGS §20-9.

Be advised that all hearings are held in Raleigh, N.C. We will provide a written response to your request within 30 days. If you request reconsideration, the Medical Review Unit will review the decision, and you can provide additional information from your medical provider in support of your request for reconsideration. If the cancellation is not lifted following reconsideration, you may request a hearing at that time.
