GREENSBORO — The N.C. Department of Transportation will close the I-785 exit 135 onto U.S. 29 southbound for pavement rehabilitation starting this weekend.
The closures are needed so crews can safely remove damaged concrete, and replace it with new concrete.
The work will take place starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21, with work complete no later than 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, weather permitting.
Drivers will be able to detour around the ramp closure along U.S. 29 and East Cone Boulevard.
NCDOT reminds drivers to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
