CHARLOTTE – N.C. Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crews will inspect the bridge taking Concord Avenue over U.S. 74 in Monroe from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28.
To safely perform the inspection, the ramp from U.S. 74 East to Concord Avenue will be closed, as will the ramp from Concord Avenue to U.S. 74 East, and the two right lanes on U.S. 74 East. Motorists are encouraged to use Secrest Shortcut Road as an alternate route.
