HIGH POINT – A Guilford County road will be limited to a single lane and at times be temporarily closed while bridge work takes place early next week.
Girders for the Skeet Club Road bridge over Oak Hollow Lake are scheduled to be set from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday. The work is weather dependent.
The N.C. Department of Transportation will reduce a section of Skeet Club Road near the bridge to one lane throughout the day and will close the road temporarily as six girders are off-loaded from a truck throughout the day.
Flaggers will be present to assist in traffic control. Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution while passing through the work zone.
