ASHEVILLE — NCDOT crews will patch potholes on Interstate 40 in Buncombe County during the week of April 8. The work is weather conditional, which could impact the completion date.
Teams will place hot asphalt in centerline potholes on the eastern side of Buncombe County before moving west of exit 55 and then toward Haywood County.
This scheduled maintenance requires lane closures near the patching operations which may impact travel times along I-40 during off-peak hours of roughly 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
