PINK HILL – The N.C. Department of Transportation continues maintenance work ahead of resurfacing a Lenoir County road and will close another section of it next week.
Nobles Mill Road, northeast of Pink Hill, will be closed between 8 a.m. April 30 and 5 p.m. May 1. Within the 1/10th of a mile work zone, NCDOT will replace a crossline pipe in advance of resurfacing the road later this year.
Earlier this week, the same work was completed nearby.
During the two-day closure, traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 258 and Jonestown Road. Drivers should anticipate needing extra time and use caution when approaching the work zone.
