RALEIGH – Golf fans can save 15 percent on travel and enjoy the 80th
Wyndham Championship (July 30-Aug. 4) in Greensboro without the hassles of parking and traffic by using North Carolina’s passenger train service, NC By Train.
There’s no need to worry about how to get around once you’ve arrived. A free electric bus, provided by the Greensboro Transit Authority, will shuttle passengers arriving at the Greensboro train station to and from the tournament between Aug. 1 and Aug. 4.
Passengers can board at any of these train stations: Charlotte, Kannapolis, Salisbury, High Point, Burlington, Durham, Cary and Raleigh. Children under 12 with a paying adult ride the train for half off every day.
Travel restrictions apply. Free admission for the Wyndham golf tournament is available to all military members, children under 15, plus teachers and first responders from the Piedmont/Triad area.
