CARRBORO – N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will begin work next week on a roundabout project at the intersection of Greensboro Street and Estes Drive.
The project is expected to begin at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, and be complete by Sept. 1, 2021.
Traffic in all directions and pedestrian access will be maintained on-site. Contract crews may occasionally close lanes temporarily in order to safely work on grading, paving and drainage.
Drivers should slow down and be cautious near the work zone and expect delays due to lane reductions.
