CLEMMONS – Crews plan to close a portion of a Forsyth County road where it is being shifted to a new bridge next week, weather permitting.
Lasater Road is scheduled to close near the mill house by Blanket Creek from 9 a.m. Jan. 21 until noon Jan. 28. The closure is needed for crews to finish paving up to new bridge over the creek.
Detour signs will be in place directing traffic from Fair Oaks Drive to follow Lasater Road on the east side of the closure up to Peace Haven Road to return to Lasater Road on the west side of the closure. North Lakeshore Drive traffic will head north to Peace Haven Road to access Lasater Road on the east side of the closure.
Drivers should slow down and be mindful of workers in this area and allow extra time for the detours.
