THOMASVILLE – A pair of ramp closures are planned along Interstate 85 in Davidson County for pavement rehabilitation work this week, weather permitting.
The ramp from northbound I-85 onto Lake Road (Exit 102) is scheduled to be closed from 8 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Tuesday. As a
detour, drivers will continue on I-85 North to N.C. 109 (Exit 103) and head back on I-85 to Lake Road.
From 8 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday, contract crews plan to close the ramp from Lake Road onto I-85 North. The
detourdetour​ for this closure will follow I-85 South to U.S. 64 (Exit 96) to access I-85 North.
Drivers should be mindful of crews working near the Lake Road interchange and plan for extra travel time because of the detours.
