MEBANE – N.C. Department of Transportation contract crews plan to close access to an Alamance County road for several days.
Fieldstone Drive is scheduled to be closed at its junction with South 3rd Street in Mebane from 9 a.m. Friday until 5 p.m. Monday, March 23 to complete the tie-in to the new traffic pattern on 3rd Street.
A signed detour will be in place to help local residents reach their homes by way of Briarwood Drive.
Drivers on 3rd Street should slow down near this intersection and be mindful of the crews at work.
