GREENSBORO – A ramp onto Interstate 73 in southwest Greensboro is scheduled to close for several nights beginning this weekend.
The ramp for Exit 120B, from I-85 North onto I-73 North, is set to close at 11 Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights and reopen at 6 the following mornings.
A signed detour will follow I-85 North to South Elm-Eugene Street at Exit 124 to head back on I-85 South and take Exit 121 for I-73/U.S. 421 North.
The closures will allow N.C. Department of Transportation contractors to safely work on the project to rehabilitate concrete pavement along nearly 7 miles of I-73/U.S. 421 between I-40 and I-85 in Guilford County. All the work is weather dependent and subject to change.
Drivers should mindful of crews working in this area and allow extra time for the detour.
