SALISBURY – A Rowan County road is set to close during the day Monday while railroad maintenance work is conducted.
Barber Junction Road is scheduled to close on either side of the Norfolk Southern lines from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
A signed detour will direct drivers to use U.S. 70, N.C. 801 and Old U.S. 70 to access points on either side of the closure.
Drivers who plan to use Barber Junction Road on Monday should allow extra travel time for the detour.
