WINSTON-SALEM – State transportation officials plan to close a ramp on U.S. 52 for at least a day to repair a storm drainage box.
The ramp from U.S. 52 North to southbound U.S. 421/Salem Parkway is set to close from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and possibly Friday during the same hours if the repair requires extra time.
While the ramp is closed, traffic will be detoured to use the exit loops at the interchange to access U.S. 421 South.
Drivers should pay attention to the detour signs and be mindful of crews working in this area.
