THOMASVILLE – The Thomasville Driver License office at 1033 Randolph Street, Suite 16 in the Southgate Plaza Shopping Center has closed and is moving to a new location.
The office will reopen at 8 a.m. on April 12 at 1650 Liberty Drive, Suite 500, across from the Liberty Square Shopping Center.
The office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays with COVID counter measures in place. That includes employees and customers wearing masks inside the office, and customer appointments required to limit the number of people inside the office at the same time.
Customers who had appointments at the old office location that are now canceled will be contacted to have their appointments rescheduled. New appointments can be made at
skiptheline.ncdot.gov. The new location will offer all driver license and State ID-related services except regular road tests, which remain suspended statewide for health safety reasons.
Customers are reminded that several license and ID-related services can be conducted online, such as driver license/REAL ID renewals, and ordering driver license and state ID card duplicates. Those services are available at
www.MyNCDMV.gov.
