WINSTON-SALEM – Maintenance to a bridge over U.S. 421/Salem Parkway is set to begin Wednesday and last about a week.
To safely work on the bridge that carries Westview Drive over the highway, crews plan to close the right lane of southbound Salem Parkway daily in this area from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The closure will not be in place during the Memorial Day weekend, May 28-31. The work is expected to wrap up by the afternoon of June 3.
Drivers should slow down when approaching this point past the Silas Creek Parkway interchange, expect minor delays and be mindful of crews working in the area.
