Caswell County Roads Set for Makeover

RALEIGH – Crews can begin work soon on a project that will make roads smoother and last longer in Caswell County.

About 37 miles of roadway made up of a section of N.C. 119 and 18 secondary road sections will be milled and resurfaced.

Per the $3.8 million contract the N.C. Department of Transportation recently awarded to Adams Construction Company of Roanoke, Va., the work can begin as early as June 28 and should be complete by the summer of 2022.

This work will take place under lane closures, and drivers should use caution as crews will be working near travel lanes throughout the project.
