LEXINGTON – Starting next week, N.C. Department of Transportation crews will close a Davidson County road for one month.
On Monday, Aug. 30, Berrier Road will be closed in both directions near Craver Road to allow bridge maintenance crews to replace a pipe under the road at Reedy Creek. Work is expected to be complete by Oct. 8.
Traffic will be detoured to Enterprise Road, Craver Road and back to Berrier Road.
Drivers should use caution in the area and plan for delays in their commute due to the detour.
