WINSTON-SALEM – This week, an N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will close lanes of Interstate 40 in Forsyth County for an ongoing rehabilitation and bridge preservation project, weather permitting.
On Jan. 4-6 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, two of three lanes will be closed on I-40 East from west of Peters Creek Parkway to east of Peters Creek Parkway.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zone and plan accordingly for delays.
