​GREENSBORO – A ramp onto Interstate 785 is set to close for an overnight period this week so crews can safely repair a bridge expansion joint.
The ramp from U.S. 70 to I-785 South is scheduled to be closed from 6:30 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Friday while the work takes place on the bridge that carries the ramp over the railroad track.
While the ramp is closed, drivers will be detoured north on I-785 to the Huffine Mill Road interchange (Exit 17) to turn around and access I-785 South.
Drivers should be mindful of the crews working in this area and factor the short detour into their commutes.
