WINSTON-SALEM – Beginning March 7, the N.C. Department of Transportation will be closing an intersection in Forsyth County for two weeks for a construction project.
The intersection of Germanton Road and N.C. 66 (Old Hollow Road) is expected to be closed for 15 days to allow the contractor to build a newly designed roundabout intersection.
During the closure, a signed detour following Old Hollow Road, Old Rural Hall Road, Motor Road, North Patterson Avenue, University Parkway, Stanley Drive and Germanton Road will be available.
Motorists are advised to use caution as they adjust to the detour and plan for delays.
