GARLAND – A section of a Sampson County roadway will close for about two weeks to allow N.C. Department of Transportation crews to safely replace a pipe.
West Magnolia Lisbon Road (N.C. 903), about a half mile from the intersection with Lisbon Bridge Road, is scheduled to close between March 28-April 8. While the road is closed, the bridge maintenance department will replace an old, undersized crossline pipe with a larger one.
While the work is taking place, drivers will use Lundy Road and N.C. 411 as a detour. Drivers should use caution when around the work zone and allow extra time for their commute.
