CHARLOTTE – N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews will temporarily close lanes on N.C. 16 (Brookshire Boulevard) near Beatties Ford Road on Saturday, weather permitting.
Starting at 5 a.m., crews will close the left lane in both directions to safely repair a 30-inch pipe under the roadway. The lane closures will be in place until 8 a.m. Sunday.
Drivers should remain alert, use caution and reduce speed approaching the work zone.
