WINSTON-SALEM – N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will continue maintenance and construction along Interstate 40 in Forsyth County this weekend, weather permitting.
The following lane closures are scheduled to take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
- On Oct. 30, two of three lanes are scheduled to be closed on I-40 West from U.S. 52 to Hanes Mall Boulevard.
- On Oct. 31, two of three lanes are scheduled to be closed on I-40 East from U.S. 421/I-40 split to Peters Creek Parkway.
- On Oct. 31, two of three lanes are scheduled to be closed on I-40 West from west of Peters Creek Parkway to west of Stratford Road.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zones and plan accordingly for delays.
