WINSTON-SALEM – An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will need to close the right lane of Interstate 40 East from High Point Road to Union Cross Road for overnight construction Sunday as part of the Winston-Salem Northern Beltway project.
Weather permitting, the lane will be closed from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m., to remove snow-plowable markers.
Motorists are advised to use U.S. 421/Salem Parkway to avoid potential delays and remain alert while traveling through the work zone and on alternative routes.
