WINSTON-SALEM – An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will implement an overnight lane closure in Forsyth County tomorrow for a bridge maintenance project.
Starting Tuesday at 9 p.m., the right northbound lane on the Stratford Road (U.S. 158) bridge that carries traffic over Interstate 40 will be closed. The closure is needed to allow contract crews to safely make repairs to the bridge deck surface. Work is expected to be complete by 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down and remain alert while traveling in the work zone.
