WINSTON-SALEM – An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will close lanes and ramps along Interstate 40 in Forsyth County for several nights starting this weekend for an ongoing rehabilitation and bridge preservation project, weather permitting.
- On April 23, the onramp from Stratford Road to I-40 West will be closed from 1-6 a.m. with a detour.
- On April 24, two of three lanes will be closed on I-40 West from U.S. 52 to Peters Creek Parkway from 8 p.m. - 5 a.m. the following morning.
- On April 25, the offramp from I-40 East to Stratford Road will be closed from 9 p.m. – 6 a.m. the following morning with a detour.
- On April 25, the onramp from Stratford Road to I-40 East is scheduled to be closed from 9 p.m.- 6 a.m. the following morning with a detour.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zones and plan accordingly for delays.
