WINSTON-SALEM – An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will implement overnight lane closures in Forsyth County tonight and Wednesday night for an ongoing rehabilitation and bridge preservation project on Interstate 40, weather permitting.
The following closures will take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
•Wednesday, one of two lanes will close on I-40 west from N.C. 66 to Union Cross Road.
The following closure will take place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning:
•Wednesday, the southbound right lane will be closed on the Peters Creek Parkway bridge over I-40.
Motorists should use caution while traveling through the work zones and plan accordingly for delays.
